Pendulums, 1993, National Gallery of Iceland, Reykjavik, Iceland, Video Pendulums, produced early in the summer of 1993 for the “Borealis 6” exhibition at the National Gallery of Iceland, is a logical continuation of Circle from 1991. Three large loudspeakers were installed at the bottom of long pipes and made to swing like pendulums over tiny microphones, producing a haunting frequency to the rhythm of their pendulous movement.
